Hello Southeasterners,
We boat Lake of the Ozarks and the Mississippi River but my family would like a taste of salt life boating. We will be vacationing in Fort Meyers Beach and are trying to find a charter boat that can accommodate all 10 adults for a sunset cruise around 1-2-18, all that I have found are limited to 6. If anyone has any suggestions we are open to all options.

Try southwest Florida yachts.

They do both crewed and bare charters.

Nice people, we chartered from them years ago.

Try Snook Bight Marina. They rent pontoon boats but doubt you can rent for a sunset cruise. There is a charter boat company called Good Time Charters that runs out of the marina as well and they have a sunset cruise.

The problem is you have to have an inspected vessel. Anyone with a captains license can take 6 paying customers with a six-pack license but to go above that it has to be an inspected vessel. So... you’ll have to look for a company and most likely there will be many more aboard to justify the cost.

One potential solution is to charter 2 boats or do multiple days where you split the group. Or you can bareboat.

Rent a sea plane for a couple of hours. We have rented them that will hold 12 people. Go land on the ocean and watch. Be a trip all will remember for ever.
