Looking for a depth finder for an 04 185 Sport I/O.

I'm new to this. Everyone says I need a depthfinder, but which one? My dash has a blank for one, but again, which one? Gottalotta river and creek environment with stumps and sandbars. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Buy a transducer for about $100, and mount it on the transom of your boat, about a foot under the waterline. Then run the wire it comes with to the dash, and you're all set.
