Looking at a 1980 Sea Ray 245 Sundancer

I'm looking at a Sundancer, really nice boat, but was told that I should not touch it, due to the early 80's producing a lot of bad fiberglass, and I'd likely end up with nothing but problems. Can anyone attest to this? The hull seems sound to me, but I'm no expert by any means.

Im no expert either...but i have a 1980 225 and owned it for 6 years now and never had any problems. I know this dont answer your question but i take mine out on lake Erie and had some "rough" rides!
