I leave in south France and want to replace the Kenyon Kiss Cooktop in my 255 Sundancer 2010 Sea Ray .the original one is broken.

Gilbert, don't we all?

The alcohol/ electric stove is a good one. Meaning trying to find parts or a replacement is something I have tried to find for over a year. Being as someone that works from home, I will have slow days and research the hell out of it. To the point that I have given up. I have talked to many of folks that rebuild alcohol stoves and they all say the same thing. "Nope, not going to happen". And calls to Kenyon is a complete waste of time. They won't give seal specs or even work on them. But they will, very happily, sell you an all electric that won't fit the opening.

I stopped beating that dead plow horse months ago.

Idiosyncratic did you call Kenyon directly? They had all the replacem t parts there ready to ship. They are pretty simple to work on.

Yes I called them direct. And they offered me a very slight discount on a new electric one. It was the third call when I asked why they dont still carry the seal kits. I was told it's the liability of the alcohol stoves.

Long time ago, I had a car that needed a thermostat gasket and couldn’t find. Old car. Bought a sheet of thick rubber and cut my own. Any chance you could do the same, bicycle tire inner tube comes to mind.

Most are a thin leather. Very small OD with a tiny ID. I thought about breaking out the red silicone or the nitrile o ring sets and see what would work. Kenyon warned against them as they wouldn't be thin enough to seal properly. I have yet to pull the stove out to try it. I think a good bench test would prove better than the words of someone trying to sell me an all electric one which that side works perfect.
