Long weekend in Newport Beach, CA

Headed to Newport Beach, CA for a few days over next weekend; Thurs-Tues. Anyone on here from there, or have any recommendations for activities? Any small charter or cruise information? thanks for any insight.

ST, I don't believe anyone on CSR slips in NB, but we have all spent time there. the marina fees are insanely expensive, but it is a beautiful place.

If you like to walk or rent a bike, you can see most of it on nice paved sidewalks.

regarding boating, there are various places to rent. I rented a Dufffy there, and there are probably some smaller gas boats available. a Google search would give you ideas.

Also, there are plenty of kayak rentals. the newport aquatic center will often have Olympic caliber kayak and rowers if are into seeing their training center.
