The Lofrans windless on my 400DB has a weak tension spring on the finger (as noted on the survey) which will not allow the rope to seat on the gypsy. How hard is it change the spring? Any "Gotch ya" I should be aware of?

I understand that I can still get the spring from Imtra.

Thanks!

I have a Progress 1 on my 380DA and will be changing mine out this coming weekend. I talked to the guy at Imtra and was told it is an easy process and yes, they have them in stock (if you have a P1). I purchased two of them just in case one decided it liked the water better than it liked the winch. I also purchased the bolt kit as well, but nobody seems to have the finger for the P1. If anyone has one, I would really like to purchase it.

Here is the like for the P1 spring:

Good luck with your install, let us know how it goes.
