Does anyone know where I can find a Lofrans Progress 1 finger kit? My windless broke and I need one. Apparently they discontinued it.

Try imtra.com and waveinn.com.
Waveinn is an European store located in Spain. They have better prices and stuff not available in USA. I have bought parts for my Lofrans 1000 with no problem. Shipping takes longerfor sure.

There are 3 fingers available at this eBay site. Go directly there and order it NOW. They are no longer available and my guess is that these are the last free-range fingers in the wild. You can still buy the springs and studs from Imtra I believe.

I'm having trouble with that link. Can you tell me the seller & title it's listed under?

as an option you can switch to chain for the anchor rode....then the tension finger is not needed....I just installed an additional 100' of chain (now have 125' total) and it works perfectly in the windlass....i mean perfectly....no issues at all...before replacing with chain I replaced the entire tension finger assembly and still had to manually apply pressure to the finger to get the windlass to grab the rope rode.....what a PITA....now I can easily raise and lower the anchor from the helm or from the deck foot switches....

Guys, I have a friend that is a machinist and is measuring my finger and going to make some as this question comes up all the time. When he is done, I'll post some pics and his contact info. He is going to send his info to IMTRA as well. Chain is the way to go, doesn't care about the finger tension.

I will get in line to purchase the part(s) if he decides to make them. Just lets us know. I think I only need a spring right now, but sounds like I should get it as a spare to have on hand. Thanks!

I am in line for a set also. Really only need the spring but a spare finger would be good.

I will take a finger and spring.

Fingers are being cut now at water jet company. I'll let yall know when they are available. The spring you can order from IMTRA. I did and it fixed the tension issue. I also bought an M8 by 40mm stainless bolt that holds the finger on perfectly. If your stud is bent like mine was, this was a lot cheaper than $40++ from IMTRA. A three pack was all of $4.

Yeah, looks like they are all gone. Damn!
There is a finger kit for the Lofrans available at my marina hindsons in penetanguishene Canada I was looking for a spring for my windlass and the lady that runs the Chandler there showed me it plus some other stuff for the Lofrans that has been kicking around in a drawer there for years. Call hindsons and ask for Sari.
