Hi I am wondering if anyone can help me with my lofrans marlin windlass.
I am still fairly new to boating and I am now wanting to start anchoring however after I washed the foot pedals the windlass is not working.
so here is a list that I think are the problems and questions
1: I think the unit on the top is seized when I have put the handle in to manually turn the gypsy the whole unit wants to turn.
2: The motor is not going up or down it did go down last week for 2 seconds then stopped and there is a clicking noise from the imtra control unit.
3: Does the windlass use oil and if so where do I change it.
I have posted this in the "official 280 thread" but with no response so I have posted here for a more wider help.
