Bartender says it picks up later when the 100 degree heat index wears off.
That's what I fear Dave. Why do I keep hearing the recession/depression is over and we are doing better? Really I don't think I see it. I do see a class of people buying, but I allways wonder if they are living in the proverbial house of cards.
Remember Mike, it's not the quantity at the cove but the quality.
I played 9 holes of golf yesterday after work...the heat was brutal.....heat index well over 100* with high humidity and no wind blowing at all.....I can see why this is enough to keep many people at home instead of being on the water or at the docks or going out to restaurants....

I rode the bicycle Wendesday and Thursday 30 miles each day. Heat and humidity felt fine. Oops wrong site.
That part I know. Someone has to be the lecherous old man. Though you are a lot younger than me. It takes some practice.Problem is, I'm not the quality people! I'm the people your momma warned you about!!! haha
Definitely more boats anchored over by Westport yesterday. Even Port City had a good number of boats tied up though there were still plenty of slips available. I may head up to the Blue Parrot today on the waverunner. Getting tired of the sausage factory at the Rudder.
I like Port City. It's just a long run for me. I like the formal/casual atmosphere. It's weird to be in shorts and be served by the wait staff in dressy gear.
I rafted out in the cove today with some friends. Jim you make it up here to the parrot?
have not even seen my boat for several weeks....I guess it is still floating....
I thought about you guys this WE when I saw the weather was going to be nice with less humidity....perfect summer boating weather.....glad you got out and enjoyed it....
I am still dealing with health issues with my elderly parents but I hope to get back on the water soon...have not even seen my boat for several weeks....I guess it is still floating....

Mike,
I got lazy and went to the Rudder again. There were a lot of boats out and the lower lake was really chopped up. Makes it tough sledding on the waverunner. I may head up in afternoon one day this week.
