Live from Knoxville 2012 - Biggest CSR Gathering Ever!

Ditto on all the sentiments regarding the gathering.

We had a fantastic time and it was great to meet all the fellow CSR folks. What a truly down to earth bunch of folks.

I am glad to have met Frank and Rusty for the first time, with all they do you would think they are 8 foot giants - and they are in heart and personality. Thanks to both of you for, not only for your contributions to our group, but also for the personal interest that you take in each of us.

I have to say that Calhoun's was great, enjoyed the beer and the boats and new friends. Although we were a littler weirded out by the crusty old fellow making out with a zebra. We had the chance to get to know many CSR folks and their spouses, including MM. I now can't be offended on the forum having met him - I must lead a charmed life!

The boat rides on Saturday as fantastic as they look in the pics, and the BBQ for lunch was out of this world.

Hope everyone made it home safely. Can't wait to get together next. Until then, blessings for all......

P.S. The burgee has been sent to our compadre in Aukland.

Oh my gosh, I almost forgot about the make-out session!!! Thanks for re-inserting that God awful image in my head!!! :smt043

Speaking of MonacoMike.... I don't think I have ever met anybody with more energy! Holy cow! The guy goes 100MPH all day. Nice guy to know.

Actually the more I think about it ...maybe I did see the initial stages of it....

We saw the end stages of it where they had to leave to go get a room! She was on him like stink on a turd pile!! And he looked old enough to be her daddy.

I still don't feel like it really happened. It was such a blast. I enjoyed meeting everyone and apologize to the ones I did not. I was seriously a kid in a candy store. Jess finally gave up trying to keep up and sat on the bank. I would do it again tomorrow in a heartbeat. Looking forward to being with all of you great people, in person, again before to long.

For now, we can chat it up on CSR!

Jason,

Well said! Lets make sure we keep it alive so that there's more CSR folks next year. My new CSR burgee is on AMFM and will be flying proud tomorrow!

Yeah, well I have to question his sanity.........

Anybody that would walk around in this crowd for the better part of 2 days wearing a "********" name tag has a serious death wish. It is a wonder he isn't swimming with the catfish in the Holston River in Knoxville.

I think they changed the parameters of the judging
the 600 took "most unique" award and a 200 buck in Sea Ray gear certificate since it was NOT a 100% correct resto
Bob Walsh's 1963 808 took the top prize at 300 certificate
Bob's boat was what we in the car show area call a beautiful old survivor...unrestored and totally original
Congrats Bob if you read this.
but keep in mind...you bought yours...I BUILT mine

My hats go off to you Jim on yours. Your videos and pics do not do justice vs. viewing your handiwork in person.

Bob's is impressive, but yours takes the win in my book. Thank you for bring it down.

Next time they do this, Matt Miller and I feel that SeaRay should "Put em' in the water and judge em".

You wanna win the prize, you have to take all of your attending CSR members for a spin. Taking a ride in a classic like yours would have beat the hell out of a ride on the 370 Venture, in my humble opinion...
