Not to mention that they take up much less room to store on board. You just have to overcome the increased price since they smaller.
 
I figured I'd reply to this old thread and get it back to the top for a few reasons. Sombody mentioned Gary's experience as a kid and I searched it. Scary stuff. Also reading it got me thinking and re thinking Standard Operating Procedure of Dads now famous JITTS. Especially since I'll be operating a different boat in much different conditions than we normally boated in. Mostly lake. I plan on getting into the ocean way more than we ever did on Dads.
Hey besides that I'm sure it will benifit sombody else as well. Like I said something to think about.

And honestly. . on the ocean with 6' waves or more. . .SeaRay only makes small boats.
