LI Rendezvous - 2012

3,2,1 for me.

Greg, after reading that article I entered the Inlet correctly. Thanks for the post.

You're welcome.

Joe, do you have the link to the article?

What? My link was no good?

Here it is in another form:

Alex, you can put me down for 5 as P1 (only because I've never been there, and would like to) and then 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 with no preference order. I think I'll leave 7 out only because it's a bit far for a weekend trip.

....What? My link was no good?...

Yeah, I still didn't upgrade my phone, so I had to get to it old fashion way.

Hanging chad I can accept - we'll just remand it to the courts. At least Dom didn't post any more critter turds.

Now we have priority levels, so we'll have to agree on the relative weighting for each priority. And I'm willing to bet that at least some of the votes were cast without spousal approval, so we have some captains about to be demoted by their respective admirals...

We might need a separate column for each marina to capture the wives' votes, and then we'll have to assign weighting for them, too. I have one of the statisticians at the plant on standby to conduct the calculations when we figure out how far this is going to go. Then we might need an elected committee to settle any disputes or complaints concerning the legality of the entire process...

I'm not voting until I talk to my wife. Not that I am scared of her, or anything like that...

Captain Rules:

....I'm not voting until I talk to my wife....

That's a post of the day, Dale :smt043

Just kidding my friend....

John, you had to make a simple poll to a complicated calculation.................no re-counts :smt009 Here's what it looks like now:

Holy Crap!! WTF? You better get that statistician ready Dale!! It should just be one vote for one place. The most votes wins. Really, what weight do 2nd & 3rd choices get? Is it the most first place votes or most votes totally? Too confusing..........

BTW Dom, My wife is happy with the way my chad hangs!!! And why are you looking at my chad?

And I quote......."Ok guys, let's start voting. I created a quick spreadsheet matrix to help us to see the results. I think it's fine if one person has more than one choice. The bottom line is the marina that gets most votes will win."

I beleve I followed directions..............

No worries, guys. I'm sure we'll have no problems to identify the winner. Keep the votes coming.

Paint,
You definitely followed directions. I wasn't taking a shot at you. It just seems a little overkill or counterproductive to have multiple choices. That's all. I trust in Alex, I'm sure we will figure this out!! :smt101

Let's face it, there's really no wrong answer here, is there?

Man how do I get on this list

What Dave said and provide this info (don't worry about table offerings until we get closer to the date):

[user name]: [crew names], [boat info], [Traveling From], [Length of Stay], [Offerings for the table]

Alex,
Can you put a P3 for Greenport on my column please? Thanks!
