Lets see where you boat.

Potomac River, I'll find some photos. We run from north of Georgetown south as far as the 301 bridge. Water depths max around 30 feet... lots of shallows so the entire run all them time is spent watching the depth finder. On of our favorite destinations generally has me showing under 3 feet on the depth finder.
 
Pretty much exclusively Pool 26 on the Mississippi River and the Il. River. Here are a few picts.

Every dam on the Mississippi has a number, the pool of water behind it reflects that number. Pool 26 is also known as the Alton pool or Alton lake. :smt001
 
It the section of the river between the locks and dams he is on.
