Lost my dog, Sassy, yesterday, she did not come for the morning greet and treat, wife call just after lunch to tell me she had found her, so I had to go home and bury her with the other lost babies over the last 25 years of living here. She will be missed.The one dog I have left, Sassy, not really a boat or water dog, she will ride in the boat but you have to put her in it
And the two cats, Peanut, Orange Tabby, and Buffy, Calico

I have no idea what happened, it appears she either just laid down and went to sleep, never woke up or something just dropped her fast, no sign of struggle to indicate any suffering. That to me is the only good thing, no suffering. She had been healthy until this.

This is Katy, she is 7. She was adopted from a golden retriever rescue when she was 5. Her previous owners just left her tied up in the yard.
Rusty, the little retriever mix in my avatar, was with me for 14 years. He was also adopted from a shelter. He was my bud, and I still miss him after 5 years.
