Oil will have a $100+ barrel in the future, ~10yr, probably sooner. But my guess is in 15 yr
It will no longer be king.
Old coal guy here and it died rather quickly.

$1.19 premium sams club northwest indiana. If only i could stock up on about a 1000 gallons

Starting to see it for under $2.00 a gallon at more and more pumps here.

I think oil will be back at $50.00-$60.00 a barrel by years end.
Neither Putin or the Saudi’s can keep their price war up for long. It will hurt both their GDP’s too much in the long run.
Saudis can get it out of the ground cheap, but their GDP and lifestyle can’t be maintained at current prices.
Putin needs higher priced oil more than the Saudis. He’s playing a dangerous game.
Trump has the right attitude.
Make lemonade out of the lemons and fill up our reserves at current prices.

Half the oil is used for aviation. The rest I think I burn in my boat. Oil employs a lot of people world wide. If they do not work then no one will buy boats and we will go into a depression. I hate to say it but US, Canada and Mexico need to set a fair minimum price for oil so the economy can start again. Oil companies will shut well and this will result in 1974 type shortages again.

I hope you have an "exit plan" for departing the "People's Republic of California" someday...
I don't know, a fifteen acre paid for ranch in the middle of God's country, 30 minutes from Wine country and 30 minutes away from limitless waterways.... we can put up with the libertards and taxes for the down hill run to glory. At least the boat gives us sanctuary and a cohort of like minded peeps to keep us sane till we get there!
Carpe Diem
