When I was in my 30's I experienced my first "may I help you sir". That was my first indication I was looking older. Of course that was decades ago. Now it's "you look good for your age". Yuck......

Tell me about it...everyone wants to hold doors open for me now. Last time I went to a restaurant a guy on crutches did it...WTF.

OMG Woody. You beat me to it. I used to hold doors open for women. Now they hold doors open for me!!!!

I may have told this story before....One time at the Post Office I opened the door for a pretty young woman, as she passed through she said 'Thank You' and I said 'I accept tips'.

When I was leaving I got to the door just ahead of her so I held it open again. She stopped and said 'You accept tips, hmmm OK, at your age you shouldn't shovel snow too fast'.

I used to just say "No thank-you" and then walk away with them scratching their head.

Sometimes I just look at people with really wide eyes and quietly ask “You can see Me?” Before turning and walking away.
