Looking to take a trip from Green Bay WI to Leeland this weekend. Got to have a chubby mary cocktail. 1st time to leeland. Any advise would help.
Thank's

Leland is a great little port. Easy to walk to places to eat, enjoy a drink and shop for clothes and groceries. Harbor is well protected from all weather and the staff are very nice and accomodating. Russ is the harbor master. Fishing around the islands is very good.

Great stop! My family's "new favorite" (but that changes with every trip to a new place). Good luck getting there this weekend. Please post conditions if you happen to go. We were planning to cross Friday, but it looks like we'll have to go to Plan B.

Listing to noaa weather this morning, It does not look good for friday with gail force winds.
We don't mind 3 to 4 footers, anything more that that i have a tendency to spill my beer. See whats it's like on Saturday

Well, here it is Saturday morning sitting at this stupid computer with the wife Cindy. Wind still blowing like a bus load of Queers.
If I can't have a chubby Mary cocktail in Leeland, Mabey I can try to get a chubby Cindy in Green Bay.

We are in Leland, came in Thursday......not sure when we are leaving, it may be by car based on the forecast, the waves have been breaking over the wall for two days. We have been to the cove for a "Chubby Mary" once so far. Hopefully we do not have do the car thing...but have to go back to work sometime, have been gone since the 20th.

It's unusual to see waves coming over the wall. How are the new floating docks holding up in the big blow? Are they noisy?

Lake Huron is the same. Nothing but hight winds. (gale force for three days.)

The floating docks held up fine, they are are not noisy....Russ is a little concerned long term on how they will hold up!!, we have them in Whitehall 20+ years, they start to break down after awhile...need lots of upkeep as they get older, but than we all do.
