Leaving the boat alone while at anchor

When there's room how about using two bow anchors?
Do you mean when there is not enough room? SOP for us; especially in remote areas.
I drop two anchors quite bit for tight or congested areas, when a large storm is on us, or if there are heavy changing currents. Sometimes we will do a Mediterranean style with the aft anchor set on land if deep enough.

In the galley it is an Isotherm cruise 130 drink fridge and cruise 90 freezer, in cockpit Isotherm cruise 36 and in the bridge is a Domenic but I am not sure if the model.

Interesting approach. It's unusual for such move, but I give the PO the credit. Now you don't need to worry about running the genny 24/7.

Me too! How long would you feel comfortable leaving your fridge/freezer off and stay cold without genny on? I'd think the icemaker in the starboard stern area would be the quickest to melt.

And, wouldn't all of those suck down the batteries pretty quickly?
Mike

I agree about losing ice, since those are 110 units. But, we go easily all night long without genny being on. No issues with the batteries.

I believe this is the way the boat came from the factory. I don’t think anything was done by the PO to the fridges and freezers.

I was under the impression that SR used Zub-zero (110AC only) as a stock fridge and freezer on 500/520 and 550/580 in mid 2000s. I haven't seen one with Isotherm come from the factory. That's why I assumed that PO replaced them. But, I could be wrong.
