I have a winterization question for Lake Lanier, GA. I know it is early in the year. I have my 2004 SeaRay 185 Sport in a covered wet slip. What should I do in the winter? I know it needs winterized, but should I have it shrink wrapped and put back in the slip? I do not want to have to pay for the slip and a dry storage during the winter. Any advice?

There are quite a few small roundabouts at our Marina that stay in the water year round and most of those folks do nothing at all to winterize their boat. While I don't recommend you doing that, Winterization can be as simple as adding STABIL to the fuel tank and purchasing a small bilge heater for your engine room if you have shore power to plug it in. That way you don't need to worry about the engine freezing. If you have a freshwater system you should drain that.

Lanier doesn't get that cold to actually freeze. But defiantly add some STABIL or some kind of additive.
