:?: Any water coming through port hole windows? The rubber seals are tight against the window - and every time it rains there is leakage that causes black streak on the wall uposltery

I'm assuming this is an older Sea Ray with the long window on each side of the cabin? If so, they need to be rebedded periodically. They have to be pulled completely out and Life Seal (I can't remember but I think that is the name?) is used to put them back in. There are some threads on how to do this all over the internet. The secret is to use masking tape it keep it ON the window frame and off the rest of your boat. Snug it up until it's just barely starting to push the caulk out. Let it set and then come along later and tighten it a little more. This assure the beads seats, but has some flexibility. The additional tightening ensures a good seal that should last a long time.

Window Leaks

Carol,

What Sundancer said is very true assuming you have the model he is refferring to.

Maybe you could edit your question or add some information on a reply and let us all know which model boat, year and window shape, so those with other experiences can give you some additional information.
