I have water in the engine compartment on the port side next to the stringer?

Check the shaft deals. Are they dripless type such as PSS or Tides Marine? Is the water fresh or salt> Is the boat still in the water?

Did it just rain or did you just wash it? Not much to go on here...

More info needed, engines, type of shaft seals, and are you SURE it's leaking or could it be rain blown through bilge vents.
