The weather in Northern Michigan has been absolutely perfect since the end of August and the fuel level indication on my boat has went down by a half. I fueled up August 31st, no fuel in bilge or sheen around the boat while in slip.
How can the indication be verified or what should I look for?

Only half? it should be on empty with that great weather,

I would take it out this weekend and put several more hours on it and see if the fuel level indication goes down again... if so, I think your indication is correct, so no more troubleshooting required.

some people hate their fuel flow meters. I LOVE ours. Fuel is the cheapest part of owning these things and the more we burn the happier we are. I like watching the tank level decrease :)
