Larson Boat Group adds VP of sales and marketing
Posted on January 16th, 2014

Patrick Blake was named vice president of sales and marketing at the Larson Boat Group and will work again with Larson president and CEO Rob Parmentier, his former colleague of more than two decades.

“When I had the chance to rejoin Rob, and then met the team at Larson, I realized that I was going to be part of growing one of the most recognized and respected brands in the world,” Blake said in a statement. “This is a position that offers boundless opportunities to build the strongest distribution network in the marine industry.”

Blake worked for more than 23 years in senior executive positions at Brunswick Corp. He was vice president of global sales for the Bayliner, Trophy and Maxum boat brands, as well as vice president and product portfolio executive for Sea Ray Boats.

Parmentier also held several roles at Brunswick, most recently serving as Sea Ray’s president.

Most recently, Blake was vice president of business development at Digital AV in Knoxville, Tenn., where he developed a business and marketing plan to lead the company in its new direction as a technology consulting business.

“I have known and worked with Pat for over 20 years,” Parmentier said. “I always deeply valued his passion for his dealers, regional sales managers and sales staff and could not wait to add him to our team.”

Blake’s leadership experience, talent in creating business connections and distribution channel management will help Larson grow, Parmentier said.

“I believe Pat will thrive in his new position, and I anticipate his extensive industry knowledge will assist LBG in making new product advancements,” Parmentier said.
