Large tabs without moving actuators?

Hey everyone - I want to go with larger tabs than the stock 260 tabs. Currently, if my waste tank is full and I'm in a good cross breeze, I cant trim it out. I do NOT want to move the actuators - they are on a special pad on the transom and I couldn't move them further inboard without pulling the engine. Advisable or not, but is it possible to move to a larger tab with an offset actuator? I was thinking if I had someone weld on a brace along the edge to stiffen it, it may work?

Can you tell us what size the current Trim Tabs are? A picture would be great!
