So far, all day Saturday. We may stay over if the kids are having a good time.

I've thought about trying to go down Sunday. Having to work today(Saturday) Hope you have fun and take plenty of pictures.

I'll post some pics shortly...but what a fun weekend! Hundreds of boats (more Saturday than Sunday, but Sunday was still pretty crowded). Everyone we dealt with was pleasant...even the jetski mounted gendarme who thought I was smoking something more traditionally illegal than the Cuban cigar I had.

Lots of absolutely beautiful boats...plenty of comeraderie, t-shirts, adult beverages and food and a lot of general splashing about. MM takes a beating a lot, but they put on a party. I understand Sea Ray was a sponsor (or THE sponsor) but MM people worked their butts off.

My only complaint...my boat seemed ENORMOUS when I pulled it out to clean it. Damn thing seemed about 200 ft long when I was getting all the crud off the bottom. However, when nuzzled up next to a string of fifty or so 33+ ft Dancers and Bridges...all the sudden there seemed to have been significant shrinkage. Not sure what happened.

You may have suffered from "big boat envy" but show them your last fuel bill and they'll have "operating cost envy!"

We did not make it down. Looking forward to the Pictures. Sure sounds like a case of itsy too me, but at least you can still mve your from place to place.

Arrived Sat about 12:30, beach area taken up, understandable. MM does their best under the circumstances, good job! Solo singer, needs work, yes I know he was a fill in. Had a great time, but anyone who anchored out a 100 yds had their hands full when they tried to up anchor! At least 3 boats I saw had problems. One had a 1" steel cable around his plow, the other gave up after an hour and cut his losses. Took me after 24 hrs at anchor 15 minutes of rotating to release. Must be a lot of junk down there.

Ugh! I wanted to go so badly!! Glad you all had a good time! We have had such a good experience meeting folks at the raft ups I would like to come out to Lanier and meet everyone too!

There sure are some pretty boats though!

Lets definately see some pics too!
