Lake Texoma on Memorial Weekend

Here are a few shots I took while anchored on Hog island. The wind was blowing 25 to 35 and the water was really turned up. Lake Texoma is on the Red River, I wonder why they call it that...LOL

We had a great time once we were able to get out of the wind. And dont hate on me too much about my antenna, its angled because it wont clear the roof of my slip if I forget and leave it all the way up...

That Fortress anchor with 20 feet of chain really keeps her in place. I tied the rear off to a stump on shore. She may have moved a foot or two over a 5 hour period with all the wakes coming ashore.
