Only as crazy as you want it to be….. it’s actually been pretty mellow on the weekends…… lots of ferry people during the afternoon but then they leave When it gets dark. No problem getting in any restaurant or bar at any time.

Saw a swarm headed your way.
The island has that reputation of being rowdy ….but it is so far from the truth. We are down at millers which is very family friendly with grass ..picnic tables… you can bbq…. Just a great laid back place. Across the street is PIBYC. Probably the best kept secret on the island great bar and food at very reasonable prices and the members are unbelievable.
You can still find rowdy but you have to look for it….. some pool hotels get crazy… never been in one…. But for the most part…. You have ferry people in the afternoon and then they leave…. Then just boaters

Out at the marina yesterday and saw some airshow jets buzzing around and tankers lined up unloading jet fuel at the tanks along North River Road. Looks like it'll be a perfect weekend for it.
Did the middle channel /north channel loop yesterday. I saw a fair number of small boats and probably 10 inflatables running around over there. Only saw a couple big boats running.

It does look like it's going to be a great weekend for the airshow. I'm trying to decide if I want to watch it from the shore at the marina or anchor out front. I'm leaning towards anchoring out front. I'll have both my girls and their boyfriends and the boyfriends have never seen it. With all three of the woman in my life on the boat at the same time I'm pretty sure it won't matter what I want or say.

Had to leave marina early today. Disappointed with what airshow we could see. Lots of dead time. Bay was packed. Something tells me there will be some props and anchor lines getting fouled....

Anyone doing the Parade of Lights out of Lambrechts Saturday? I think it would be fun but I don't have the ambition to do it. I would have to go all in and not just hang some lights on the railing and call it done.
