Lake Saint Clair Peeps

Yes have 2 beers for me.
Well Blue I had 2 beers for you, but it was by myself. I was at the Tiki Bar from 3:20 to about 4:15 but didn't see any other CSRer's. I guess we'll have to try a meet up this summer in one of the bays. It will probably be easier spotting our boats than a guy in a orange shirt in a sea of other people. I think the star of the show was the 460 Prestige. I wanted to look at it but wasn't waiting in that line to do it. There had to be 20 people waiting each time I went by.

That's too bad... but good on the beers though. I was on the prestige at Colony's open house a few weeks back. I swear I was walking around in a camper. The materials were not very nice. The fit a finish seemed fine but I would think around a $1M they could have done a nicer job. When I commented the same to my salesman he agreed and said but it's not $200k more like a Sea Ray would have been

EZ, I looked for you - obviously didn't see you. I thought it was a nice show. I did buy a dingy from Dingy Concepts. Got the white hard bottom floor model that had out. Now I got something to put the 15 Mercury I bought last year on.

Midexp, The Aventus dinghy is good. I have used it the past two seasons and no issues. The front bow seat is actually bigger and more comfortable for my wife than the one my Zodiac had. The Aventus bow seat is very similar to the one on the 11' Raider dinghy I had.
I run the Aventus with a 9.9hp Merc and no problem plaining with my wife and I.
If I pull the trigger on the new center console dinghy I am eyeing, then I hope to be able to sell the Aventus one this spring. I should know by the time the weekend ends if I am moving forward with the new one.

Brent. I bought the same Aventun I think you have yesterday at the Boat Show. Got the seat upfront with the nice storage locker. Looking forward to using it this year. Have to figure out how to haul it for few trips up to NCYC, but well mostly use at around MacRays.

At least this year you can just work over and see if what I did would work for you .

Hey Midexp, good deal, I think you will like it. I use a whale fin on my outboard but it is only a 9.9hp. With the 15hp, you are going to cruise with no issues.
When you go up to NCYC, give a shout out. I am not far from there and go past it quite a bit while in the dinghy. I know of a couple people that are associated with that club, as I was part of BBYC and the last commodore prior to us dissolving.

I love that place.... we seriously considered joining last year but ended up going to Erie. A definite must stop if you haven't been there.

I don't blame you a bit. We came back on the 11th and I'm ready to go again. I'm so sick of winters. I use to check my investment portfolio daily to see when I can retire. Now I check it twice a day. Nothing has changed but if it does I'll catch it sooner...:D:D:D

. (I drink miller lite
I also enjoy Miller lite!
I'm terribly sorry that you guys have to switch to Michelob Ultra for the next season. Remember I'm the new guy, you guys have to welcome ME. If you would have moved over to Beacon Cove when I was there then I would have switched to Miller Lite. :D:D:D . Oh yeah if I remember right Gasketguy usually gets to the marina on Thursday's. At Beacon Cove we always washed the new guys boat for him for the first HMMMMM 2 season's before he got there on Friday night. I only like Woodys Boat Soap on my boat but whatever you use on yours will be fine. I think I'm going to love being at MacRay.:D:D:D.

EZ, I'll be there for sure. Plan on getting there about 6:00. Probably won't stay long but hope to see some of you there. I'll look for you.

I plan on being there around 6 also. We need to come up with a plan to recognize each other this time. Maybe we'll have to have them announce a CSR table over the microphone or something.:D:D:D

Orange pull over?.. You should have picked out your outfit already?... Just trying to help :)

Besides I'm thinking about wearing camouflage. It's like no matter what, a meet up never works.:D

Definitely wear camo, but none of that cheesy earthtone stuff. SeaRay Camo: White shirt and pants, with a navy blue stripe.

That way you’re protected when you board Rich’s boat to grab Miller Lite. If anyone walks by, just lay down on the seats and make sure your stripes line up. Foolproof.

That sounds like a lot of work for a Miller lite ... Especially lining up the stripes .... I say he wears his orange searay pull over and make it work this time :)
