Lake Saint Clair Peeps

a 47 Excalibur is a very nice boat, will be hard to miss when I am there.

Thinking about heading into Fisher Bay this weekend (with 97 expected to be the temp on Saturday). I have only taken my dinghy back there by going through the Sni, but I think I need to broaden my horizons and try something other than Munchie Bay. With Munchie's location from our home port, it is too easy to just settle on Munchies. Also, did a couple of overnight trips the last few weekends, looking forward to staying in the home area this weekend.

Brent, I think you could make it through with your boat going through the Sni but I don't feel comfortable saying that for sure. A couple dock neighbors of mine go back there with their 400 DB and a 42' Silverton Flybridge but they have never went through the Sni, only from the lake. I have went both ways with mine, but I would definitely say you need more water than I do. I am thinking of Fisher Bay Saturday also so maybe I'll see you in there. I have hunter green canvas and will be flying my "Bottoms Up" flag and an American flag if my other 8' antenna shows up this week.

EZsteps, I will keep an eye out for you. I am pretty sure we are heading to Fisher this Saturday. Look for a480DB, name is Irie and I typically fly a Past Commodore's Club burgee off the bow.

I will be coming in through Goose because of my location being Beacon Cove. I have came in from the North Channel/Sni also when I need fuel from Belfour. The first time through the cut is a little nerve racking.

What is the best route to get to Fisher through Goose? I've anchored in Goose many times cutting over at the second set of markers in the middle channel and then staying on the deeper side. Going farther in gives me some angst because I'm unsure of any shallow spots.

I go straight down the pipe also, just staying in the middle all the way back. I'm 5'10" and where we usually raft up it's just about chest deep.
I’ve never used the cut but I’m getting tempted.

It's not bad once you've done it. I've been through it quite a few times. The only reason I don't like going through the cut is because it means I'm on my way to give the boat at least a $700.00 drink at Belfour's.:D

We're in Fisher right now, but haven't seen any Lake St. Clair peeps. Hope you guys are having fun today it's a beautiful day.

That Canoe Cut is my fav. It’s our short cut to Bouvier Bridge marina.

Who's going to the MacRay/Belle Maer Fireworks Wednesday?
I'll be there. We are going to be over by the condo entrance as close to the wall as we can get. I was going to stay on the hook but now I have to work Thursday, so going back to Beacon when their over.

We went here on the 4th. It’s the bay in-between Goose and Fisher. We call it Foose.. It was my first time here and we like it. I’m the third from the left
