Picked up daughter from college yesterday, next time I think I might send a moving company! Man the stuff that can fit into a 9x12 dorm room - spending the weekend "re-provisioning" then the expedition is off her summer internship. Probably be up next Saturday. I think we are still planning the LKN raft up / get together soon.

i got caught up in a bit of that yesterday. Driving back from Savannah I thought I'd stop in Columbia to take her to lunch. Little did I know it was moving day between apartments. Oh well, that's why we have kids, right?

we moved ourselves and our two kids in and out of dorm rooms and apartments and houses more times than i care to count over the years....i told everyone a couple years ago that the next time i will be there for 'moral support' only and with a checkbook to help pay for a mover.....these bones, joints and muscles are too old to do that kind of manual labor now....

just saw your post Jim....we were on the lake all WE Saturday thru Monday....had a good time with dock friends and Bill (BillK2632) came over Monday afternoon....we cruised down to Kings Point Marina to get a pump out.....Monday afternoon turned out to be good weather for boating.....the water in front of my slip is getting pretty skinny...it is down to around 4'...if it gets much lower we won't be able to take the boat out until the water level comes back up....boat traffic has really dropped which is a good thing....
Bill reminded me that we still need to plan a raft-up for all the CSR members on and around Lake Norman....
