Lake Michigan travelers

Charlevoix may have to wait until my kids aren't with us because they are only good for about 2 hrs of cruising before they get unruly.

Y'all need to pick up a few sets of these for unruly kids.....

You'd probably only have to use them once before the kids got the message.

Brew , I didn't see any pics and we noticed lots of fog all summer so far , I think it's cause the water is so cold making lots of moisture ..... Sorry we didn't bump into you , and disconnect those kids from their tech world .... I like to watch mine squirm .... Hahaha I'm their parent not their friend ... Hahaha

Just pulling into Leland now. Lake is a total mirror!

Nice! We had great conditions all last week on the lake, from Portage to Grand Haven. Tuesday was the only rough day and we stayed in port.

The south end of the lake has been like glass the last 2 weekends. Great boating conditions.

Some have suggested the haze is caused by the fires in Canada.

Anyone stayed in Arcadia this year or last , we want to go up and possibly go as far as Frankfort but want to stay in Arcadia as well .

Ok we're in Arcadia Michigan at the Veterans Memorial Marina , it's small and Tuck away but Mark is an awesome marina master . We're taking up two slips and paid for one , town is small but an awesome Ice cream shop. Water was flat for most of the way hot 4-5 Foot rollers at Manistee but they were following seas so no biggie .

I have a few pictures from last weekend down by Michigan City but no photobucket. We went over to Gary and watched the air show from the water. When we got back to the marina, there was a transient Princess S72 at the end of one of the piers. Hailed from Palm Beach, FL, and she was a beautiful ship. I give the captain credit for getting her in where she was tied up, cause I would have been scared.

When we got back to the marina, there was a transient Princess S72 at the end of one of the piers. Hailed from Palm Beach, FL, and she was a beautiful ship. I give the captain credit for getting her in where she was tied up, cause I would have been scared.

I was up there the same weekend on Sunday just before 11:00am at the municipal. The Princess was getting diesel and backed down the marina from there to get out.... He seemed very nervous and used the thrusters a lot ... I thought he had plenty of room to turn around after the gas docks.... But I guess not.... Maybe he was the backup captain..
