I keep catching this tv show on Saturdays at 12:30 on the antenna on the boat. It seems it's new and so far focused on Toledo and the river but maybe it will expand once they run out of stuff to cover in the river ...It seems like a good show... Just a PSA if you haven't seen it.

I've caught a couple while surfing on rainy days.

You would think Saturday at 12:30 would be the worst time to attract boater viewers or any other viewers for that matter....
It’s called winter. Perfect time for northern boaters in winter. Sigh.

Killer is they are done taping as of last Saturday for the winter... You need to wait until spring when your boating again

Folks, my name is Mike Jameson and www.LakeEriePortOCall.com is my show. Thanks for watching it, It finally got me back into boating after raising my daughter who is now 26... I would love input with areas to wander into, mechanical fixes we can showcase for boater and sponsors who would be interested in showcasing their product, service or Lake Erie get a way. We are a small company nestled in Toledo area, but I want this show to grow and showcase our wonderful lake. Please contact me at Mike@LakeEriePortOCall.com or 419 514 1302... Thanks again for watching us on Rainy Days.........Airtime is expensive......LOL

Mike,

Welcome aboard. Have you contacted Lake Erie Shores & Islands (shoresandislands.com ) ? They are the marketing organization for Erie and Ottawa counties. They can provide some ideas.

Being selfish, don’t promote the area too much. There’s enough people there on the weekends as it is!

A cool series of episodes would be a trip from Toledo to Chicago around Michigan, return back to Toledo along the west shore of Lake Michigan, maybe hit Drummond before turning south again? In a couple/few weeks time you could hit some amazing ports.

For your DIY corner - some of big boater topics seem less available on Youtube/online. Perhaps a video on changing duckbills on the head system (plenty of comedy to be had here for the right presenter). Or a segment on generators and the common safety switches that eventually need attention. Tips and tricks for compounding/polishing/waxing with a rotary. DIY EVA foam installation.

Good luck!

@Mike Jameson ....For DIY segments you could use the popular topics on here

Winterizing
Oils and outdrive oil changes
Impeller replacement
Safety concerns of portable generators :)
As mentioned polish wax, include ceramic coatings
Hardwood in main salon is a hot topic lately
Anchors, windless and anchoring in different situations
Easy meals and cooking/bbq on the boat
Rebedding deck hardware
Small scratch surface gel coat repair
Canvas replacement, different types of isinglass and snap installation
Stereo upgrades
Smart boats using WiFi, cameras, Bluetooth, networking
Alarm systems
Advantages, knowledge and cost savings of joining Clubsearay.com

I am sure I am missing a bunch

Great Idea's, we just need to sponsors to make it happen. I am hoping to have this on networks throughout the great lakes area. Lot of potential, just need to backers to make this go really big.
