For those of you on lake Allatoona or close enough to get to Allatoona, let's plan a CSR get together.

How about late May or mid June (water should be nice and warm). Depending on how many or few want to participate will determine which cove we use for a raftup.

I would definitely be interested in it.

Where would the best ramp be for somebody coming down 575 be?

Ok. That makes 3 so far: Irie, Miss Behavin, Ms Judy.

Chuck I'll be able to tell you where to put in once we find out how many are coming. Then I can get you as close to the cove of choice as possible.

Any day is good for us, but just a note...the last weekend of May is Cherokee County graduation weekend...all other things being equal, that may be an especially out of control weekend on the lake.

We're usually holed up in a cove for 4 or 5 days over the memorial day weekend. Last year we were in Flamingo backed up to Gilligan's Island.

Count us in - depending on the date (now that's an oxymoron!)

Maybe we could get MM to set up the floating drive in movie?

Not a bad idea. :thumbsup:I'll call them and see if they'd be interested in participating. Pam told me just a week or so ago that they still planned on doing the dive-in movies on Allatoona.

Now there's 4 Irie, Miss Behavin, Ms Judy, Reward

We are in also! I spend every nice weekend up there as it is and let my yard and my neighbors suffer! (GRIN)

Looks like I will have instant boat envy looking at all you guys beautiful boats!!

LOL. I hired a lawn guy last year because we were on the lake so much that my wife was worried the HOA:smt013 would get upset.

5 and counting........Irie, Miss Behavin, Ms Judy, Reward, Second Chances

Count us in. We usally don't get to the lake til 6:00 pm on Sat. and stay the night and all day on Sunday. I work on Saturday's. With enough notice I can swap days. We dock right across from Chapman. Hey Carter was yall up yesterday? We were up yesterday cleaning the boat. What a mess the pollen is.

Hey Jim,

We were - it's the first time we haven't stopped by your Dock to meet you - sorry we missed you! We will be up next weekend - looks like 80 degrees. Boat washing again - final pollen cleanup.

Sue is getting her "Waverunner/Jet Port docking lessons" from me - glad I'm letting the MM Captain give her the big boat docking lessons!

To quote D-Day in Animal House: "...raaaaammmmming speeeeed!..." The front ends of those Yamaha Waverunners sure are well built!

That's great so you did get the ski? I am off next weekend and we are taking our ski up on Sat. It's been sitting in the garage since Dec. Hope to get up early Sat. AM. Did you get one of the ski slips in front of your dock? We got the first one facing yall's dock. Move the ski and I figure I got a place I can buff the bottom of the boat from the water. See ya this weekend.

Great 6 and counting........Irie, Miss Behavin, Ms Judy, Reward, Second Chances, Black Pearl.

I know a few other Searay owners on and around the lake that are likely to come.

Maybe we can start aiming towards the Mcklaskey area. There are several good open coves we can fit a good number of boats in a protected area.

As with all the good spots we'll need to claim the area early. It would be nice if we could get 3 or 4 of us in "the spot" to hold it for the rest. But we can work that out as we get closer.

Ok, dumb question. Where is "Mcklaskey area"?

It is just off the Rome/Canton GA 20 exit off 75N. For you Chuck it may be easier to put in over here by me at Little River and just ride over to the raft up. It is not that far of a ride to McKaskey Park if that ends up being the spot. If you are like me I dont really like pulling my boat a long way if I can ride in it and GA 20 is the East West route over to the West side of the lake from 575 for us. Either way we can figure that out no problem!

Ugh! Now I am getting excited about this so I will have to find a boat project to keep my mind busy until it is time!:smt101:smt101
Maybe some LED's !!!:smt115

Yes, I'll becoming down 575.

Is that number 15 Little River Marina?
What do they charge you at the Marina? How is the ramp and truck/trailer storage?

Did you do the remote trim switch upgrade? I'm thinking of adding it to MS Judy.
