Labor Day W.E. on the Delta

We plan to be out on the Mokelumne on Saturday with a trip to Guisti's in the evening. We'll try and find you sometime in the afternoon. Based on today's weather, it should be a glorious weekend.

It should be an awesome weekend. Like I said, the place we will be is just north of the Hwy 21 bridge at Tower Park. We should be ther about 10:30 AM. We will actually be on the South Fork of the Mokelumne. The more common route to Giusti's is up the North Fork. You can get there from the South Fork but not as easily.

From the Mokelumne River Bridge, going north, you would take the first fork to the right. That's the South Fork. When you get to the Tower Park Bridge you turn south to Tower Park and north to Westgate Couny Park. If you go north you come to 2 islands, tules actually, and the larger one on the left has a good size cove where we will be. There will be at least 3 boats there and maybe 4-5. The beer will be cold, the blender will be hot and if it's as hot as I think its going to be on Saturday, the genny will be runnin' the AC.

Hey fellas.... I was just reminded that we have a Rivercats game on Saturday evening so we will not be down the river. Maybe we will swing by later in the weekend.

Hi Guys, we cruised through the cove today and saw a LOT of boats in there. We didn't stop as it was a little packed and we weren't getting friendly looks. I hope you all had a great time. We sure did.

We did not get there until about 12:30 on Saturday and there were only 2 big ugly houseboats there when we arrived. We started with 2 Sea Rays and a Bayliner and that increased to a high of 6 boats. We did have a great time. what time did you come by?

I am glad everyone had a great time... we did as well but never got out of town. Family and friends stopping by to see us and get a boat ride.
