I was thinking of taking a boat trip from La Crosse, WI to Rochester, NY does anyone have any information on routes and time frame?

My sister used to live in La Crescent now in Onalaska. I've been up there a couple times. They have a small boat that they use to go on the Mississippi, day trips and fishing. I can't tell you about your route though.

If I was serious about making that trip, i would start with www.greatloop.org There is plenty of info, forum, etc. I'm certain there is some info related to what your looking for. Sounds like a dream trip.

Sounds like a fun trip. Please post what you find. We are up in Wisconsin also. Funny, my girlfriendis from Rochester. She may have ideas for a marina there.
