Replacing the glomex antenae with KVH M1 on my 2002 340 Sundancer. The Glomex arch mount is a round mount slightly recessed in the arch. Can I use the existing pole mount of the Glomex or do I have to buy the vertical mount from SeaView? I am aware that I need the bottom plate for the M1, but will that bottom plate accept the pole mount of the Glomex?

Not sure if you'll need a new mount, but suspect yes. The only advice I have is regarding keeping the glomex. We kept it, and my guy put a splitter, with a switch in, to go from the glomex to sat. My buddy thought I was crazy, but since we needed a new mount (radar and sat dome stacked), there was no reason to remove the glomex, just to have a hole to deal with.

We were in Greenport for several days this month, and the dish wasn't picking up a signal, so the glomex really saved the day.

KVH makes a mount the will thread onto the Glomax mount very easy install.

i agree with keeping Glomex. that's what i did and just installed a new threaded post with the threaded mount from KVH. the Glomex isn't threaded so you will have to replace the post anyway, so just leave the glomex alone and add a switch near TV.
