My new to me boat came with a KVH M3 ST and the matching M10 12 volt receiver/controller. The boat has 3 TV's and if I subscribe to Direct TV I'd like the option of being able to watch it on all 3 TV's, preferably with the ability to watch different channels at the same time.
It doesn't need to be HD.
The M10 receivers are discontinued and hard to come by for a decent price.
I know I'll have to go with 110 volt for the extra 2 receivers I want to install.
Has anyone done this, or something similar that worked out well?

Take a look at this diagram. You'll need a destacker. Dual output is around 250, and then you can use a 110v resedential tuners.....call KVH tech support to confirm.

Thanks! I called them last night and the person I spoke too didn't have an answer. She was going to have someone else call me back, but it never happened.
Honestly, she was more interested in convincing me that I should buy a new system.
Investing in another satellite system that may be obsolete in a relatively short time doesn't appeal to me. That's why I was hoping to find an easy way to use what I have.
If I can't get a definitive answer, or it winds up being more trouble and money than it's worth I may just reinstall a Glomex with a 3 way splitter and some new coax cable for now.
I can see that the boat had a Glomex at one time because the amplifier is still mounted in it.
My feeling is that wifi availability is evolving pretty rapidly and it may just pay to wait a while and invest in equipment to pull in signals so I can stream content instead.

I purchased a KVH m1 from Craigslist a few years ago and KVH helped me set it up. It still works fine with direct tv service and the m10 receiver. I would assume your equipment should work as well. I later added a second home type receiver and set it up per the diagram posted above and it works perfectly. The key was that I called KVH and they setup an account for me that I gave to directv and they just activated my service. It really depends who you have on the distant end at KVH. I believe he was a tech rather than typical sales/front line support person.

I have the M1 as well, that I purchased new. Like Dean, I had an excellent experience with the Tech support at KVH. I also hooked it up with a signal destacker & use a house receiver for the mid cabin tv.

Thanks guys! I think I'm going to give the Glomex a shot rather than investing in a destacker and two home boxes and committing to a 2 year contract for a nearly obsolete system that may not work that long. The person I spoke to from KVH kept stressing that my system was outdated, which makes me think they may stop supporting it at some point.
If I find that the Glomex and OTA programming isn't good enough, then I'll re-consider it.

I'll take that M10 receiver off your hands if you find you don't need it in the future.

I think I'm going to keep everything intact until I settle on a long range plan. If I end up removing the whole system I'll probably want to get rid of it as a package, but I'll keep you in mind.

The technology in this area is always developing & changing. I spoke with KVH tech support not too long ago because I had an M3 system laying around & was selling it to a friend. I wanted to make sure it was gonna work for him. I was told that the tech was good for the next 5-10 years min, and maybe beyond, depending on what the satellite companies do. He was also hopeful that they would continue to broadcast on this frequency due to the vast amount of mobile systems utilizing them and the customer base they would lose. You can also suspend service 6 months a year & not have to pay.
Good luck with the Glomex. Maybe your area is different but, by me I only get a few channels on it. Plus, the local sports channels (MSG, SNY, YES) are not available over the air so no Rangers, Mets or Yankees either!
