Checking to see if anyone has had issues like these...or can give me an idea where to start.
If I run my boat first, my generator will run for as long as I need it to (hours and hours) ...if I shut it off (overnight) it won't run for more than a couple of minutes...I am not sure if I am looking for a fuel tank problem ...but it does seem like it's running out of fuel, if I hold the start button down it still surges a couple of times and then dies....I am not sure if I am chasing down a fuel tank issue.. I have taken the carb off, the fuel bowl is clean, the fuel pump is a year old and the fuel filter is new...I thought of rigging up a seperate fule supply to rule out the line and main tank...but the stbd. engine runs fine....any ideas?
