I'm still in the water but won't be at the marina until Sunday afternoon.
Must be nice...I haul out Tuesday. Lake is forecasted to die down a bit before then...but today is 30+mph gales and 5-8s this weekend. Might have to wait until Tuesday to pump out...
We're heading to Metro tomorrow morning with a group. Spending the night and having a seafood cookout for dinner. Sunday will be alot of work because Bottoms Up is getting pulled Monday morning. Time to start planning the winter vacations.....
That's sounds like fun... We have a couple boats coming from our marina this weekend too... Haven't decided when we are coming out..... Have fun
Hmmm ok - let me check that NOAA forecast again: Saturday high of 53 with SW winds at 21. SB101 at 8:00 am this morning, temp=41 wind 22 gusting to 24. Think I'll head over to the heated storage and work on my boat.
It's a beautiful morning here...
Been out for four weeks now,she went in the heated shed monday. The wife and i spent the previous three weekends striping the bottom and sanding it down for the new epoxy bottom .I am getting too old for that kind of work plus a 50 hr week at work in between.Wont be long before the 50 hr in between is history though.
Looks peaceful. Take a pic of South Passage on your way home
How's that working out for you today? Has this weather moved into your area?
I must be in a bubble.... it’s a really great day and tomorrow looks good. This is the view from a bar we are in Topsy Turvys
Purchased anti-freeze today...
Off topic but gotta say....if SR still made boats that looked like this, they'd sell pretty good.
Agreed Woody, but the fun is over for another season. I have a few winter projects though.
Man, if I showed that picture to the wife, I am screwed!!! BEAUTIFUL BOAT.
Changed the oil and emptied all the stuff off yesterday, getting pulled next week. Only had the boat out of the slip once sense Labor Day. Kept hopping for a great Fall weekend but it has been so crappy on the weekends, I gave up all hope.
Came back to port Clinton this morning. South passage was the roughest.. 4 footers but the rest of the trip was fine. I am glad we got one more weekend in at PIB. Always a good time, good food and good friends.
Yeah that would have been a bit rough, cold and wet in my 280. Glad you're back home safe and sound.
Well Metro was beautiful this weekend and so was the food. I had to have a talk with my Sheltie about laying down between two Regals.
And then the sad part came today.
Gonna be a long 6 months boys!
Geez... Even on land outside they have to park you close. What the heck...
