Keeping Refrigerator Fresh

When my boat is not in use, I have been keeping my frig door open to let air circulate to keep it from getting mildew, etc. If there a product I can add/spray into the frig to keep it fresh with the door closed? Any other ideas on how to keep the frig fresh between uses?

Door ajar and a box of Arm & Hammer leaves it odor free after a winter on the hard.
I put a box each in fridge, freezer, and cockpit fridge.

Keep it full of beer and 34 degrees...in use or not.... I have never had a problem..
