Just me, stirrin' the pot a bit.....

I have to hand it to Trump. He never fails to disappoint when it comes to being a national embarrassment ...on pretty much a daily basis. At least he’s consistent. If you don’t find this embarrassing then I don’t know what to tell you.

When I started watching the fire live one of the complaints repeated was the inability to get close enough and also high enough up to get water down into the fire where they wanted it. They were unable to make best use of their water. I also wondered if anything could be done by air.

Early on they thought they would lose the whole thing to the fire. To refuse to consider options from the air because it might cause damage is ridiculous.

I suppose if you dropped a ba-zillion gallons at one time it could damage even a church that wasn't on fire at all but I'd sure think something like this could have been a big help...buckets that do a controlled, metered dump. Maybe they don't have stuff like this over there.

You would think any large cities with tall densely populated buildings would have something like this....especially in Europe where some of the buildings are 900 year old wood structures

Ya, you'd think such an important, beautiful old structure, valuable in ways difficult to measure, a marvel of construction, awe inspiring to this day, would have been better protected. But just like not wanting to use water from above for fear of damaging the church that was facing total destruction....they had also rejected installing a sprinkler system for fear it would start a fire.

Now that is something even Pres Trump would have recommended had he known, even though he'd be demeaned for even giving a shit, and subjected to unfair criticism and asshattery.

So now there is someone to legitimately criticize...

I'm curious. Are you against more barrier where needed or just against Trump?

So you would have welcomed advice from the French Prime Minister on how we should be handling the situation on say ...9/11?

How about New Zealand weighing in on our gun control laws? I'm sure we could learn a thing or two right?

You guys are full of it.

It will be interesting to learn how the fire began.

Today we've heard that Donald Trump, nor any American for that matter, colluded with the Russians to have an effect on the 2016 election. We also heard that there was no Obstruction of Justice committed by Donald Trump to try and subvert an investigation, into collusion, that never happened.

This should make every American happy or at least content. However there are those with vitriol, disgust & plane'ol'hate against this report & the president. Vitriol in the sense that these malcontents, "wished or hoped" a sitting president did in fact collude to influence an election, and are now upset that this is not true. Something is seriously wrong with this picture.

Yes - however to which 9/11 are you referring?

Really? You must have an unredacted copy of the report you drew those conclusions from. Please share.

Vitirol, disgust, and hate? Trump does nothing but further divide this country. He appeals to no one other than his most loyal supporters. He draws the ire on himself.

In my world they are free to express themselves, just as are you. Apparently in your world others do not enjoy that type of freedom.

I believe NZ officials have weighed in on our 2nd Amendment rights, and I have no problem with such as they have no power over them they are welcome to opine all they want.

Mike, that's a load of BS and you know it. You know exactly what I'm saying and you're just arguing for the sake of arguing.

I just did share. I'm tired of dieting on "Nothing Burgers".

For the record, I didn't vote for Trump, I voted against Hillary.
