Ok, so I just had my 320 shipped from MO to TX. The dealership that I bought it through serviced both engines (changed impellers), etc. When I first got it in the water and ran it, the cooling hose came off of port engine, smartcraft alarm went off after the the temp got up to 180ish and the port side impeller came apart. So, I replaced that. Then I took it out a second time and the SB engine started overheating, so I immediately shut off the engines. Tried to start the port engine to get back to my slip on 1 motor and it wouldnt start. Finally found the engine breaker (little red button with a 50 on it"...pushed that and started it back up. Ive had to push that button a couple more times to get it started and now it wont start at all even after i push it. Anyone have any suggestions? This is my first cruiser and I am pretty upset, i hope its nothing major....

I shut the engines off right when the alarm went off so temp never got over 185ish either time. The smartcraft alarm said code 19: overspeed - ???

I never had any engine problems other than a starter and an alternator so I don't know but you should receive soem responses tomorrow. Good luck!

If it were me I'd definitely check all the power and ground wires, on the engines, batteries and battery switches. An '06 should have no corrosion issues on the wiring so that's not likely it... something may have a bad connection though.
If that doesn't help I'd swap those 50 amp breaker switches and see if the dead one will start. It could be just a faulty breaker.

Thanks dude, nice boat by the way.

I had put all brand new batteries in before this happened, so Ill check all the connections again.

Yeah the boat has no corrosion, always in fresh water, only has 50 hours on the engines.....

Thanks dude... you too!
Your repair will likely be something easy :smt001

Check the fuses that are mounted on top of the engine block. I had a problem similiar to this last year, and a 15 amp fuse in that block was blown. The engine would turn, but not fire. The ultimate problem for me was crappy fuel.

I had a similar problem this summer where an engine wouldn't start, it ended up being a wire that comes off the Hurth transmission just needed to be unpluged and pluged back in, and also make sure shift lever is in neutral.

Ok, so I think I have everything worked out. The SB engine was overheating because the cooling hose was not on all the way tight and it was sucking some air. The dealership that serviced it didnt tighten it back correctly.

The port engine was not starting because the starter wire assembly was loose next to the engine!

Im all good now. Now the only thing left is that my speedometer gauge on the dash and the MPH readout on my smartcraft is not working. Paddle wheel speed reads 0 too, so maybe replace the paddle wheel and transducer??

actually it looks like my shifter on the port is off a little...after wiggling it back to neutral 4 or 5 times, it started!

The paddlewheel may be clogged with seaweed or something stopping it from spinning...

I had a no start issue this year and it was an IAC (Idle Air Control). The tech pulled the codes and IAC and high temp were found. I purchased the boat this summer so I didn't have a history but I believe the high temp and IAC were seperate issues since my impeller was ok. IAC's are a very common part to fail. Good luck
