Hi everyone,
I thought I would introduce myself! We just bought our first boat, a 2004 Sundancer 340. Needless to say, we have no clue what we're doing. We are going to have an all-day instructional course on our boat next week, which will really help; plus we're taking the standard safety course our state encourages. I grew up on a boat but never operated it.
We had to move the boat from one slip to another yesterday, and by the grace of the universe, another friendly boater was right there to grab the lines and help us maneuver it into the slip without crashing into anything.
So obviously, a bit of a learning curve ahead. But we enjoyed the weekend at the marina, slept aboard (along with our dog) and hung out at the pool. Happy to "meet" all of you!
