Hello Everyone,

Does anyone have any remarks on how to winterize a 2008 and 2010 Sea-Doo Jetski. I was going to do the following:

#1 Add stabilizer to fuel
#2 Connect my winterization jug with 5 gallons to the engine and start. Run through.
#3 Change Oil and Filter
#4 Check fluids
#5 Spray fogging directly into 3 cylinders
#6 Unhook positive post on battery
#7 Replace Plugs after first start in Spring.

Can anyone else give any feedback or suggestions. I've winterized my boat engines forever, but this is the first year for the jetskiis.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

Mike, I think we all have slightly different approaches but I think your list is fine. I made an adapter to blow out my water line rather than use the antifreeze. Also, I haven't changed my plugs after spraying the cylinders with fogging spray. I spray the water intake, rear mechanism, engine and impeller with seadoo anti corrosion. I take the battery out and leave it on a trickle charge all winter.

Here's all the info you should need.

The procedure is in the owner's manual. There is a more detailed procedure beginning on page 5 in the shop manual.

Always disconnect the negative cable first and connect the negative cable last when working on a battery.

Best regards,
Frank
