Jensen TV

Looking at model JTV19DC to replace the old (dead) flip down in the mid cabin, and this looks (at least online) to be acceptable and at an ok price. Amazon has for $233.18 and My12voltstore shows $156.45.

Anyone have any experience (good, bad, ugly) with Jensen?

I've had good luck in years past with Jenson. That said, I haven't used anything from them lately. I particularly like that one since it is already setup for 12V. One thing to consider with pretty much any of these portable flat-screens is the audio is usually terrible.

In my setup, I'm piping the audio into my boat stereo via Bluetooth, and it makes a world of difference.

I don't remember the brand I put in ours right off hand, but I play it through the boat speakers via bluetooth also.
I have a built in DVD player in mine. I know that's a bit dated, but it works for us.
We pretty much never use the tv anyways.

Nice install! What I'm hoping is to see is what someone has done with replacing the mid-cabin tv...particularily the ceiling flip down mount..

Just received the new Jensen 19" TV to replace the old flip down in the aft cabin. Was on the boat earlier today and curious as to where the old flip down got it's 12VDC from? I may be able to splice onto the existing 12VDC, but if not, is there a buss-bar somewhere close? I really can't tell from the once-over look.
