Jacquin haul out in NJ?

Doubled up on all lines and fenders. Stayed on the boat last night during some howling winds but she is nicely tied up. May loose the back curtain if the winds get much higher but looks like the hurricane will head-out far enough to the east to not be an issue. It's this other nasty Nor'Easter that is giving us fits right now.

I've heard this several times from folks affected by Sandy. Is it because the tide surge was high and the boats would float and ultimately sink?
My other boat had water come in the engine room and mess things up. Then weeped out and left a mess she never left the stands.
Some say,, if the plug was in she may have floated off the stands. Either way it's not fun.
