My spotlight has died and I have purchased a replacement. However, the existing one is mounted forward of the anchor slot at the very tip of the anchor pulpit. The base of the light has 3 Phillips head screws to mount it but they just started to loosen and then started spinning. It seems like there may be nuts under them but I have no clue how to get to them. The underside of the light cannot be reached from the Anchor line storage compartment under the windless. Does anyone know how this light is mounted and how it can be removed?

Not sure about your model but I have a 97 vintage boat and my spotlight was just screwed in is it possible that the holes are stripped use a flat head screw driver under the head of the screw and lift out as you back out the screw might just come right out

Thanks! I will give that a try. I was thinking the same thing, actually, until one of the screws got tighter after about a 1/2 turn. I will give it a shot and see what happens.
