Very Cool,
My Father in Law is down in Fallbrook and Brother in Law in Hawthorne and we keep threatening to trailer our boat down there to head out to Catalina. It's a place my wife and her family used to go in memory of her Mom after she passed away.

We have been by the Catalina Express but we'd love to go on our own.

Nice pictures

Catalina after the fires?

Avalon looks good! How does the rest of the island look after the wildfires? Any impacts to boaters elsewhere around the isle?

I found this cool WebCam
Catalina Island Webcam
It's a great live view of Avalon Harbor... the boating looks good to me.

Hey, thanks. Very cool.

We are headed over to Emerald Cove next weekend. Can't wait!

Any ideas on how big your boat needs to be to take a day trip out there??? I have a friend with another 21' boat that says he takes it all of the time! I'm not too sure.

I know folks who take their 20 footers out there (although, I wouldn't) some of them don't even have VHF - They're braver than I. I know you CAN take them out there but you probably just shouldn't. IMHO
