Hi Gang!

Finally did it today! We bought the 1992 Sea Ray 200BR today, after a trial run this afternoon. Has a 5.0 LX with an Alpha One drive. It performed superbly! So after looking at a few Four Winns, a Chris Craft, and 2 other Sea Rays, this is the one we decided on.

Thanks to everyone here for their help!

Thanks folks! It is in really nice shape. It has been dry-stored since new, and it seems to have been used very infrequently. I called the marina where they had it serviced, so I know it has been serviced annually. I still need to get a few more details from the previous owner. We are the 2nd owners, by the way.

We do have a couple of things we need to do, or would like to do:
- Install a depth and/or fish finder.
- Replace the AM/FM/Cassette unit with AM/FM/CD.
- Full cover.
- Bimini top.

Any recommendations are welcome.

Our first boat, too. It was an experience bringing it in to the ramp area, and getting it up on the trailer. A lot more experience will be necessary.

We will be boating on both Lake Wylie and Lake Norman, for those of you in the Charlotte area.

Thanks,
NCC

:thumbsup:Congratulations and welcome to the club!!! You may want to check into Copper Head Island ramps for Lake Wylie. Again welcome to the club.

Nice Boat. We live in the Charlotte area and boat on Lake Wylie as well. And Wesley is right about Copperhead Island as a launch point. It is secluded from the winds and waves you have at Buster Boyd and you also don't have the throngs of people to deal with when launching/retrieving.

Great looking boat! Welcome aboard. I started with a 180 in the same year as you. You'll love it

Nice clean boat.
Now you can start thinking again.:smt101

You have all the upgrades to do now

Backing your trl so the trl fenders are just under water maybe 2".
The boat should just about float off the trl.
Same goes for putting it back on the trl.
Maybe a little winch the last foot or two.
Works good for solo launching my 26' anyway
