Aw C'mon, you have a dock right in front of your house!!! I suspect you're not going to get a lot of sympathy from this crowd.

That being said, it's always sad to have to end the season. We're lucky we don't have to put up with that. We boat all year.

Yeah, no kidding Gofirstclass. Don't cry for me, right? I guess I better not expect a pity party. I guess more than anything, this is a pretty weak excuse to post some pics.

Today, I thought, "Wow its great that I waited so long to put the boat away. It's already mid-November!! Spring will be here before you know it." Then, the pain of January, February, & March hit me. I HATE those 3 months. How can 3 months of the year seem longer than the other 9?

Oh, I may be shoveling my own snow. We normally get a snowfall or two during an average winter, but it's usually gone in a day or two. Every few years (last winter was one) we get dumped on. Well, if you can call 6" of snow being dumped on. I had to shovel three times last winter!!! I was about to start my own pity party when it warmed up and within a day it was all gone. But I'll be thinking of all youse guys who are shoveling when we're out on the river.
